Our History

RIGHT was set up by a small group of volunteers in 2019. We met through our passion, dedication, and love for greyhounds and felt there was a genuine need to have a non-profit organisation dedicated to rehoming greyhounds in Ireland and show Irish people what wonderful pets they make.

At present the majority of Irish greyhounds are rehomed outside of Ireland, mainly going to the UK and Europe where they are actively promoted as pets. Our aim is to keep them in Ireland.

We have a proven track record of successfully finding permanent homes for greyhounds in Ireland. We also hold successful meet and greet events which allow the public to meet greyhounds in a safe and friendly environment.

Greyhounds deserve a chance to become a loving family pet and RIGHT are dedicated to finding them a forever home in Ireland and ensure that each greyhound is well matched to its new family.

RIGHT is run entirely by volunteers and we have no paid staff.
